New guy introduction and Air Venturi parts question
« on: January 10, 2022, 08:18:34 AM »
Hi airgunners!

I got into airguns about 15 years ago, built a little stable of PCPs, including my name sake.  I've been into powder burners, reloading, and bullet casting for about 20.  Target shooter since a child and peacetime disabled Army vet.

I'm trying to get my .45 working again after an aborted self tuning attempt a few years ago.  Trying to get Pyramyd/Air Venturi to help me with parts and the jury is still out.

Any advice will be appreciated. FYI I have not searched this forum yet so may find my answers here.

Thanks, Sam

Well I did my search and found that there probably is a real problem with Pyramyd/Air Venturi.  Am I just in a bad mood, or do they really insist on factory service?

I can build a firearm at home if I want to but I can't repair my airgun?

It's a poor way to meet you fellows, I know.  I'll try to be more positive.

Steveoh (Steve) is our web master, and he's into big bores, including the SamYang. He will chime in I'm sure. If he can't help you, we have several other guys who even dream of big bores! Stay tuned.

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).
