I've been shooting for over 60 years, but just got my first air rifle - a used CMP 853C.
I've shot competitively for the first half of my life, mostly smallbore on both civilian and military teams.
The only thing I don't shoot is shotgun.
My oldest firearm is a 1953 manufacture Winchester 75 Target model given to me by my older brother, which I still shoot.
My newest is the Daisy 853C. I have a lot in between, both rifle and handgun.
I'm very much looking forward to the new sport of airgun shooting. I'm more interested in the X ring than soda cans, but I do love to plink.
I live in Delaware where any airgun caliber larger than .177 is illegal. Those of you who live in a free state, count your blessings.
