Maximus Disassembly Video?
« on: March 02, 2020, 08:42:02 AM »
Anyone know of a Video or How-To Guide detailing disassembly of a Maximus? I bought one of those 9-shot GRAVmag 9S magazines but my Bolt Probe's tip is too long and the mag won't feed. I bought a shorter probe from Alchemy Airwerks but don't have any experience working on PCP's.

Thanks - David

This should be all you need, if you have a good set of tools, especially good Allen Wrenches.

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

Thanks, Alan - that's helpful but I'd really like a little more detailed guidance than just looking at a parts diagram.

The only "tricky" part is the trigger assembly. It comes off as open piece, and you shouldn't have to open it up. The rest is straight forward—just remember to degas the gun, and don't dry fire it after you do. Besides a set of o-rings, and a small jar of silicon grease (Amazon), is some sort of rest.
