Drink Green Beer and Save the Planet
« on: November 18, 2021, 12:44:11 PM »
Well, the beer itself is not green.... That's the colour of the algae in bioreactors that consume the carbon dioxide produced by fermenting the beer, and turn it into oxygen, more efficiently than trees, I might add.... The algae is then blended into cow fodder, which reduces their methane emissions by 20%....

Imagine if this process is adopted by all the wineries and breweries across the planet.... It could probably be used in the production of Ethanol to fuel cars as well.... Using algae to scrub the CO2 produced by fermentation and produce oxygen instead, and then use the algae to reduce cow farts sounds like a complete, circular solution.... BRILLIANT....  8)

I drink green beer every St. Patrick's day!

Yes, I know we're not talking about the same thing, but at least I try!

BTW: I don't like beer. I'm a wino to be sure!

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

At least it is the algae that are green, not the wine/beer....  ;)
