Greetings Comrades...
« on: September 26, 2017, 10:58:26 PM »
From the Peoples Republik of Kalifornistan...

I'm David, coming over from the GTA forum. I live in Sonoma County, the southernmost Gulag of the Redwood Empire, in the Town of Windsor.

Bought my first AirGun in many years last Black Friday, a very hold-sensitive Benjamin Regal II NP .22. Quickly realized I couldn't hit the same spot consistently with it so replaced the POS 4-power Centerpoint scope with a Hawke 3x9 and still wasn't accurate. Started searching AirGun forums for answers to my problem and found one - in the form of a new Benjamin Maximus .22 PCP!

While the single-shot Maximus was a tack-driver out to 40 yards, fumbling pellets trying for quick followup shots when the rare multiple pest opportunity showed itself was a pain. Fixed that by picking up a .25 SynRod about a month ago on a killer sale Cabela's was having. Shipped to my door, I paid $281 after using discount Gift Cards and getting 10% Cash Back through Active Junky!

Now I'm firmly stuck in the Rabbit Hole - will be ordering a Huma Regulator to use in combination with one of Travis's A.R.T./SS Valves and a MDS Hammer and hopefully that will satisfy me for awhile, right? ::)

Eh, bottle that dude as well!

Welcome aboard. Whatever mod you want to do, is here for the asking. Pay particular attention to Bob Sterne's column.

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

I went down a similar road bought a Nitro Piston off Craigslist and got me started.  Well with long barrels.  Next was a Mrod .22 and it was slippery from there down the hole.

Again Welcome.
