Breaking Rule #1
« on: June 27, 2016, 09:14:55 PM »
First post. First Air Gun site joined. Got a Daisy Red Ryder for Xmas when I was 10. Best Xmas ever. Hours in the woods shooting. Pretty accurate for a BB gun. Few years later a Crossman Powermaster 760. Very accurate for a pellet gun. In the service and played with the big boy guns. M14 pretty accurate at 600yds on man size targets. M16 pretty accurate to 500yds. M60 pretty accurate short range lots of fun. Several years later purchased a 397PA. Nice wood and metal trigger guard. Very accurate and fun. Still got it. Noticed PCPs on you tube and started perusing all the airgun forms looking for an entry level PCP. Then ran across a post by an obviously irresponsible member here by the name of something to do with barrowing ammo. Cabelas--Benjamin Marauder $399 free shipping. He obviously did not consider the temptation this post would have on an old man who enjoyed shooting air guns. Just received Marauder .25 with wood stock. Got scope, waiting on WAR SSG, rings, pellets, shooting rest, tank etc. Now going down the rabbit hole. Longing for a FLEX. See what you started canibarrowsomeammo. Thanks. This is going to be fun.    Dave

You, my good sir, brought this upon yourself.  Please do not go blaming our good members, such as the gent who borrows ammo, for your issues.  Please don't make me bring upon you the BAN BANANA.  Because, sir, I will.

Welcome to the forum.

All this blaming... it a micro-aggression.

Get a Hill hand pump and get some good exercise while shooting - then right it off as medical expenses......

Caniborrowsomeammo got me hooked on the bigger and better things as well when I bought his heavily modded .25 Mrod. Now I turned that into a .30 and just ordered a .25 WARP...expensive this addiction least it's not bad for my health  ::) well until the wife (in 11 days) finds out then it might be harmful  :o

Methinks I may change my handle to>>>>>> " The Enabler "   8)
10% of the ammo proceeds should go to me as "borrowed"
You will find this is one of the better addictions in life.
Welcome to the forum and the world of PCP Dave.

Welcome, Dave.  It is a slippery slope, indeed, but the ride is fun.  So you go a .25 Mrod.  Congrats!  Do yourself a favor.  Leave the forum now before it is too late.  There ae too many other guns out there with enticing siren songs.  Beware!  But DO have fun.
