My Range Cart
« on: June 18, 2019, 05:00:27 PM »
I got my range cart ready just in time for this weekends FT match at the Texas Air Gun Show. It started out as a jogging stroller. I picked it up using the 5Miles app for $10. It was rusted and the fabric was rotten. Installed a set of Kolpin Rhino Grip XL rifle holders. I used 2 pieces of 1x12 for a floor. My Ninja 90ci bottle is in a small back pack hanging off the handle bar. I used a wooden ammo box I got for Christmas a few years ago to store pellets, tools, oils, and an umbrella. Cooler is a Igloo BMX 25 quart. Folding stool is made by Gorilla and last my bipod.

That's really cool. It reminds of the fishing carts I see around my parts that folks use to fish the piers of SF Bay. Some of the piers are really long and require a significant walk. Every one is different and tailored to the person's needs. All it takes is some imagination, patience, and experimentation. Nice work Ricky.

Necessity is the mother of invention! Great idea. But with all that weight, maybe it should be motorized?

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

It's not heavy. Rolls rather easily.

If you saw the amount of crap I take with me to Kevin's, you'd know that I'd need three or four of these. And people wonder why I drive a 3/4 ton truck with an 8' bed. I tend to fill it all up.

I do think your cart is pretty cool though. Good job!

Oh when I go to the range to shoot I bring a ton of crap. This is strictly for FT so I'm only loaded for that.
