I need a holster for a Crosman 2240 or a 1322/1377
« on: February 07, 2017, 06:11:45 PM »
I have been setting out mouse traps around the chicken coop retaining walls, and I'm over 50 mice dispatched so far. The little traps work well, but sometimes the bigger mice are still alive. I carry a 2240 or a 1322/1377 with me as I'm making my rounds, give the little buggers the coup de gras.  I tend to use my son's 2240 more since it's a bit more convenient and with LDC it's quiet.

As I'm making my rounds my hands are full and I'd like a holster to carry one of these airguns. Got any favorites or recommendations?

Have you looked into making a Kydex holster? Lots of vids on youtube, and maybe a fun project for you and the young shooter.
just sayin' ;)
With this wet weather the meesses are out in force, huh? I don't seem to be getting a mice problem, but gots lots of rats in the chicken feeds lately. Been using a repeating mousetrap I think it's called a Tin Cat for the meesses.
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Grinding out a living on the farm.

I know one person who uses airsoft holsters he gets at Walmart.
He has had great luck with them for his Airguns and powder burners

I can make one , but it would be a lot less expense to use a contender holster, LDC may be a issue though. I carry mine in an old map case over the shoulder and it has extra place for small tools that I use for 12 gram co2. Map case also does not disturb anyone stopping by.

Found this image on the internets...

I like it. Won't work with moderator, but the business end of the holster could be modified.

When I find something I like, I'll post it.

Seems to me that Manny had a tactical holster he used to use for a DAQ might be a good fit.

That is a dang nice holster, Hate to see what it cost. I have made holsters for 50 years off and on and if you can get that one buy it. Perhaps the person who made it could leave off the end seam. Should be no problem for them. But the pouch for pellets and co2 cart would be a pain in the butt.
