It is the start of Summer vacations, and for many, planting season too. But that doesn't mean you can't shoot your airgun! And you'd best, unless you want to lose your touch for the Fall hunting seasons, which will be upon us before we know it!

Hill compressor review. I always enjoy Andy's Airgun reviews.

Huzzah for the Brits Engineering and making a compressor at home in jolly old England.

Curious compressor that seems it will excel for a backyard shooter shot goes through a lot of air. I am disappointed that they really didn't design it for filling SCBA Tanks, as the compressor also isn't designed for remote / 12 volt use. Still... it sure seems like the future is bright for Airgun compressors.

Now let's see an American company up the Ante and design, engineer and manufacture at home a superior compressor. Can we do it and do it competitively?

I now have two of these pumps. One for the farm (others use this pump several times a week), and one at home to replace the Omega Air Charger.

They are rather fast in refilling my Impact, and can fill tanks up to 300 BAR, or a bit short of the standard 310 BAR most of their competition does. When I say fast, it take about half as long to fill my Impact, but part of that time is a result of a larger internal volume the Omega has. Loudness wise, they're a bit quieter than the Omega, but not by much. They do use a bot less wattage which is good.

So far, neither unit has failed to live up to its expectations. This said, the second one (at home unit) pumps a bit higher than the display setting. No big, as I just set the pressure a bit lower (245 BAR vs. 250 BAR).

Currently, they're only available from Pyramyd Air here in the USA.

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

I love mine.  Have had no issues so far. Would like to cut down on the moisture when I bleed it off, but other than that I love this pump.
