Does anyone add anything to their compressor's cooling water so it does not get slimly.
Yes! I used to own an Omega Air-Charger, and they used some sort of "Blue" liquid, but I don't remember the actual name. Steve (steveoh) owns that compressor now, and if he reads this he can look up the product in the manual. I looked on line, but couldn't find it.
One more thing. They tell (Omega) tells you to use de-ionized water, but I used distilled as it is somewhat purer, and won't have any other chemicals except H2O. City water isn't safe in these cases.

I believe it callled Blue Ice Alan that's what I used in my Omega and AV 4500. Along with anti-freeze.
