PCP Airgun Compressor Pre-Dryer

Sorry for the thread revival.  Thank you all that have contributed.  I'm just now catching up with a newly purchased 2023 model of the EC-3000.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to go about hooking up the pre-dryer housing to the air intake that I have?  It appears to be an integrated filter and ball valve.  Please refer to the images from the service manual. Edit:  I figured out that the "filter" housing is threaded into the ball valve housing.  So I think I know what I need to do.  Sorry again for the thread revival.

You'll need to go to your local Ace or other hardware store for the fittings. And a short length (2 feet?) plastic pipe to go with the fittings. It is hard to find the correct British input fitting, but you can cur the end off the original input fitting. It is black, and on the top front of the pump housing. It looks like it has a felt insert. If you can find the British fitting, get a 90° angle one. Some tape can be used to make it larger is necessary to fit the inside of the hose.

One more thing. A pint is enough silica gel. It will fill the housing a couple of times. However, the stuff is easy to dry in a microwave. Just pour it into a Mason jar, and hear for about a minute. Let it cool a bit, then put the lid on for next refill.

Also, you can use molecular sieve (Zeolite). (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085W6TXJ8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1). It too can be recharged, but requires a lot of equipment to do so. It is cheap (thankfully) and the 3 Angstrom material will hold several times it weight in water. I use both in series), as I use the silica gel to tell me when I need to replace the Zeolite.
