Here is a list of commonly used AG (AirGun) acronyms and terms.  Thanks to rsterne & ShakySarge for their assisstance.

SSP - Single Stroke Pneumatic
MSP - Multi Stroke Pneumatic
ACP - Air Conserving Pumper (aka RAP)
RAP - Retained Air Pumper (aka ACP)

PCP - Pre-Charged Pneumatic
PSI - Pound-force per Square Inch
BAR - Metric unit of pressure--- 1 BAR = 14.5038 PSI
kPa - kilopascals--- 1 kPa = 1 BAR or 1 kPa = 0.145038 PSI
HPA - High Pressure Air
CO2 - Carbon Dioxide
He - Helium
Ar - Argon
N2 - Nitrogen
O2 - Oxygen (not to be used)

m/s - meter per second--- 0.3048 m/s = 1 FPS
FPE - foot pounds (energy) --- also:  joules--- 1 joule = 0.737562 FPS
CTC - Center To Center
KE - Kinetic Energy
ES - Extreme Spread
SD - Standard Deviation
NR - No Reading
DOF - Depth Of Field
FOV - Field of View
*MIL-DOT - Miliradian Dot (Distance between the centers of any 2 adjacent dots on a MIL-Dot reticle scope equals 1 Mil, which is about 36"---or 1yd@ 1000yds, or 3.6" at 100yds.)

FN - Flat Nose
RN - Round Nose
SP - Spitzer
BT - Boattail
BBT - Bob's Boattail
FB - Flat Base
GC - Gas Check
WC - Wadcutter
SWC - Semi Wad Cutter

FTFY - Fixed It For You (generally when someone quotes you and modifies the quote to what they think it "should have said", typically done in humor or satire.)

*It might be good to cross-list it with "mil", which is more commonly used.  Also, it might be easier to grasp if it were defined in terms of range and size, like 1 yd sideways at 1,000 yds range, or 1 inch sideways at 1,000 inches range.  The key is 1/1000.  Not to be confused with Milly Radiants, which is when a girl named Milly is really cute.
