Finally! It is shorts weather, and time to teach the kids gun safety. What better way to pry their fingers off the game consoles, and endless TV time?

Oh! How about amateur radio?

Oh! Oh! I give. Sailing is a hole in the water that you pour (or poor) money into! While you can indeed spend a whole lot of money on amateur radio, for most folks, it is not anywhere as addictive as sailing, or air gunning. If you believe that, then allow me to introduce you to Travis at WAR!

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

I'm a licensed Extra class. Addiction factor....not even close, airguns for the win.

Good thing about a boat you can always mark the spot on the boat where the fish were biting :D

I am a licensed Extra class also for the past 24 years, and the only time that it was addicting was when I was a teenager and was able to date a chick I talked to on a repeater.  Airguns are always addicting, that and nature photography which costs a pretty penny for decent gear.  Speaking of which I feel the need to spend  a couple of grand on a new air toy before the baby arrives :D

I wondered who owned that site! Now I know—another air gun nut!

Welcome aboard.

WX7K here.  I am not addicted to airguns.  I am not addicted to airguns.  I am NOT addicted to airguns.  MY mom used to say if you said something enough times it would be true.  I think mom fibbed.

As for the dip habit, quitting smoking was easy compared.  I stopped the dip, Copenhagen, back in 1977.  Haven't had any since.  But I tell you, let someone open a can near me and I salivate.  That urge has not gone.  I was a swallower.  Couldn't spit aboard the hip.

Currently bass fishing is my most expensive hobby.

All time life cost.  Motorcycling is by far the most expensive thing I've done except buy a house on five acres.  Even my old office and office property didn't cost as much as motorcycling.  Heck, my wife's office and my office combined might only come close.  If I add in my wife's bikes and all the custom work she demanded it might be sneaking up on the price of the house.

Airgunning doesn't even come close.

Machining started as a hobby, but after I got my first little desktop CNC mill each new machine was paid for by the last.  Its one hobby that I have to pay taxes on.  I wish it was bass fishing that paid for its new toys.  LOL.
