I thought this was interesting.

Initially he talked about the historical use of rolled up scree material. That made me think about the time I raced motocross and we all had mufflers (cans) capping our expansion chambers on our two stroke race bikes that eventually burned out the packing material.

One guy had the brilliant idea of repacking his muffler (silencer) with steel wool.

Imagine the hilarity of that steel wool catching fire, and sending out flames as he made his way around the track.

Nothing but action noise and the plink of the round hitting the target.

Porous infill for the win!

I still like my new suppressor. All "I" hear is the hammer smacking the valve. Twenty feet away, and you can't hear that either. Amazing to me at least.

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).
