Replica airguns

I have been against the proliferation of replica airguns in general, and pistols specifically, for several years. The reason should be evident, and if it isn't, then read this:

My son has a Colt 1911 airsoft pistol that looks like the real thing except for the florescent orange muzzle, and bottom of pistol grip. Black spray paint would fix that.

Replica airguns under 360 fps are banned in Canada, and that will shortly expand to 500 fps (all non-PAL replicas)....

I wish they were banned here as well. Personally, I feel the same way about fully-automatic BB and pellets guns. It boils down to just one word--Why?

i'm not sure that's any of our business.  "why" own a Ford?  "why" watch Fox News?  "why" about anything, it's different for every person.
