We are all human! Well, maybe... most of us. So we all goof up once in a while. So now is your chance to allow the rest of us to laugh with you!

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

Allen I must be very human as I have a couple additional funny stories, but unless some others
own up I don't want to be the only klutz/bonehead!  I have a friend who retired from the military,
he told me it's Ok to make fun as long as the person you are poking fun at is yourself, great advise.

One day I re-sealed my QB-79, and adjusted the trigger while I had it apart. Put the rifle back together, and dry fired it a few times to test the trigger. How sweet it was breaking at less than 1.5lbs I guestimate. Stuck in a .177 cal pellet so I could go outside and run it over the Chrony. Well, after pushing in the pellet I closed the bolt and the gun fired. Pellet went through the garage door. Shhhhhhhh don't tell anyone.

Note to self: super light triggers should be tested with the rifle pointing in a safe direction, like a bucket full of rubber mulch.

Also note to self: those big Quackenbush's should not be tested any other place than at a range or at a farm or the woods. A full bag of rubber mulch is not appropriate or strong enough to trap a .58 round ball fired from the mighty DAQ. Yep, that's a dent in my grill after a complete pass through of about 12" of rubber mulch. Doh!

I had had my share of "boo boos" When it comes to airguns!

My first one as when I received the CDT GRTIII trigger for my Trail NPXL1500. I installed trigger and dropped in a CPUM in the chamber. Returned the barrel to the locked position and BAMMM!! Nice little hole in my tin roof on the deck. The Mrs came running out yelling "what was that"?!!! I said, nuuuuuuuuuthin..........   She looked up and saw the tiny hole and I bet I got a 30 minute lecture!

My second goof was after I received my first Gen I Marauder in .25. I was shooting off the back deck and was wondering why it sounded so loud but wasn't seeing where the pellets were hitting. I went through the whole 8 rd magazine and when I went to reload, I noticed that I had taken a nice 8 pellet chunk out of the top railing!!! Line of sight versus Bore line will get ya if you ain't thinking!!! As soon as the Mrs got home I had to go to Lowes and get a new top rail, she was not a happy camper!!!
