If I scaled up the .30 cal Hunter to 0.575 cal, it would be 320-360 gr. and be 0.69" long.... Either one should work just fine, it's a matter of drawing up the one you guys want.... I also need to know the head and skirt diameter you want.... The head diameter should be close to, but NOT over, the groove diameter of the barrels.... but MUST be larger than the land diameter.... The skirt diameter would normally be about 0.012" larger than the head, to keep the proportions used in JSB (and NOE) pellets of other calibers.... Part of the large difference between head and skirt diameters is to make the pellet forgiving, so that they are tolerant of barrel dimension variations between manufacturers.... If there is only ONE set of barrel dimensions, the skirt and head can be closer to the same dimensions.... It is usual for the skirt to collapse slightly when loaded into the chamber....

As soon as I can find my bloody calipers I'll measure.  Three new kittens have knocked stuff on the floor and batted those things around. I can't find squat.  :o >:(

Are these still in the works? I'm very interested in the .45 pellet. Heck I'm interested in all of them. But especially the .45. My .308 Texan SS and .300 Flexes love the .30 Hunter. I got a hunch my .45 Texan will similarly love the .45 Hunter.

I went out and measured the DAQ .575 barrel on my pistol.  I used an old (before cheap) Mitutoyo dial caliper that is accurate.  The bore was right at .575 several times, the lands were .569 using two precision pins that fit when together, a .284 and a .285.  Remember I want one.  Regards, Tom

Is there a way to order a sample pack of the .251 pellets and slugs? I have a .25 Krsl puncher breaker, tuned by Troy Hammer that does great with the JSB Mark 2 and pretty decent accuracy wise with the grizzly slugs.

The Grizzly slugs have been extremely hard hitting on Jack Rabbits/coyotes as well as getting 40-50 shots before any significant POI drop. The JSBs are more noticable once it gets past 30 shots on the point of impact drop.

Anyone else have a recommendation of what NOE bullet styles work best in their Krals?

I got my .30 46 mold in day before yesterday and cast a tin tonight. Mine are coming out at 45 grains. They look great. Hopefully my short Flex likes them.

Now about those .45 pellets... I'm jumping all over that mold when it comes out.

My .45 Texan SS keeps bugging me about a pellet mold. So I thought I'd just pass it along...

Moulds, not molds  ;). I have plenty of molds available to me.

I forwarded that to Al....  ;) ;D :o

I've ordered the Magnum Hunter in 22 and am waiting on the regular hunter to come back in Stock for the regular hunter 22.  I understand there are challenges casting smaller molds but I would think as common as 177 caliber rifles are that a 177 offering in the magnum and regular would be great sellers also.  I would definitely purchase both.   Maybe Bob could put in a good word with NOE.

There are .177 and .20 cal slugs coming.... I have been after Al for pellets, and I think the small waist causes tool breakage....
