Title: Pyramyd no longer selling Evanix

Pyramyd no longer selling Evanix?

I sometimes go by Pyramyd to ogle the airguns, and I often look at Evanix rifles. They make interesting air rifles me thinks. Anyway went by this morning, and have only one Evanix listed. What’s up with that?

I don't know if they are or not, but there is a bit more to the story I think.

Nowadays, regulation is almost a requirement to stay competitive, and the Evanix isn't regulated. And just 20 shots on a fill, is a bit behind times too. It is somewhat louder than most other airguns in it class, and if that wasn't enough, it is single shot (no magazine). Perhaps Pyramyd is waiting for Evanix to come up with a few new models?

Actually many if not most of the Evanix rifles take magazines and some do have shrouds and some moderation.

Perhaps Evanix are having trouble keeping up with demand and supplying parts and service. Pyramyd and Dog River Design are listed as USA dealers.

I see that JSAR have rifles on their site and show that they are in stock.

Curious as I thought that Pyramyd sold a boat load of Evanix.

Someone has the skinny.

Evanix used to have a fully automatic rifle. Heres one for sale for R20,000 (~$1500 US)
But getting anything from SA takes forever.
