I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

Best place to buy: Had good or great experiences with just about every vendor. I started with Airgun Depot when I got into ag's and they've been great. But so has Pyramid and A of A. Gun buying from Utah Airguns was great.

Forums: The Airgun Guild of course!

Ranges: Circle S in Petaluma (public, Thurs thru Sun) Short range to 300 yards. Firearms with airguns allowed.

Brands: Just about all have their place and 'cool' factor. I like big power (Airforce) but I also like reliable accuracy (FX)  I haven't owned a lot guns as a sample size but my fav's are the above mentioned.

Let me lay this on you.

About 3 months ago, I upgraded my internet to 1 GB service (plus nearly 300 TV channels) with no limit downloads, and no slowdown for usage. Previously, downloads from Apple (≈3.8 GB) took several hours, even after I upgraded to 20 MB service. Now? Just 3 or so minutes. This allows me to watch anything I'm willing to pay for. But guess what? YouTube is (still) free, even though you still have to watch way too many ads. What's more, it is more entertaining than network television! As a result, I got interested in Andy's Airgun Review, On Line. Say what you will, the guy is entertaining, and I've learned about a bunch of airguns I didn't know existed.

Then there are all of the on-line, airgun hunting videos. The best ones are from Matt Dubber (several different YouTube channels), and AirArmsHuntingSA. Utah Airguns has a few good ones too. Those from Ernest Rowe, of FX fame, are real teaching (learning) opportunities! To boot, there are other airgun sites which are almost as good. Unfortunately, there are too many (amateurish) airgun channels which aren't worth the effort! You can always tell too, by looking at the "likes". By the way, I hate that term "LIKE"! I always ask myself, what's to like, or like what?

There is another source of entertainment available from ChromeCast, and that is old movies. If you subscribe to ChromeCast, here is a secret. Do a search on the Old Movies Channel (no additional service fees) for "Airgun". NO! I'm not going to give away the plot! But... You will be surprised!

So there!

Southern Gunner and Mr. Hollowpoint are the only Airgun channels I watch with regularity.  Thus they're my favorites.

Pumpers, Jumpers, and PCPs... Oh My!

Daddy-O, you're correct. Giles is a kick in the pants. One of his postings has a whole lot of outtakes which are hilarious!
