My first airgun was a Diana model 27 .177 springer my Dad bought me when I was ten. I loved that thing, but left it behind in my closet when I left Florida back in 91. Sitting in that closet for all those years unprotected took a toll. I have it here with me now, taken apart on the bench, waiting for me to make a spring compressor to finish putting it back together. Many moons passed since 91 and a few years ago I bought a RWS DIANA 350 MAGNUM FEUERKRAFT COMPACT PRO .22 to fill that empty spot. It was my first adult airgun. Oh what an Airgun!
Well the 350 magnum has gone to a new owner: Sharp shooter. It wasn't easy to let it go, but he wanted it and my left shoulder has joined my right shoulder in complaining, and much pain. Cocking that beast just was too hard with my lame shoulders. Frozen Shoulder according to the PT guy.
Anyway, congrats to Mike (Sharp Shooter) and I hope you enjoy the beast as I enjoyed it up until recently. She likes a loose hold, and if you caress her and tell her sweet nothings she will give you accurate results. Enjoy!
Now I need to get out and shoot the calmer PCP airguns. That .257 Texan is calling as is the new Career .357. I have a butt load of bullets to test in the career.
Life is good.
