Some questions for Springer enthusiasts
« on: May 15, 2020, 07:01:31 PM »
A few questions for Springer enthusiasts.
1. Do you shoot in competition?
2. Do you shoot only at targets?
3. Do you hunt with your Springer's?
If so your go to rifles.

I don't do competition, shoot at targets several times a week and hunt when opportunities arise. I have four go to models of rifles for hunting.

Hatsan Carnivore or 130QE  .30
The 125 in .22 or .25
150 sniper vortex .22
Xisico XS-28M

Six rockchucks Friday morning with the 135 Carnivore.

I just bought a Weihrauch HW57 in .22 caliber from a good friend. I did so with the idea of getting a friend into airguns. I suspect I'll make sure it is working well first. It has a 3X9 Leupold scope on it, worth more than I paid for the total package. So we'll see what I do with it.

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

I have an RWS / DIANA 350 MAGNUM FEUERKRAFT COMPACT PRO that I hardy shoot due to it being a scope breaker, and pain inducing to my trashed elbows and forearms from Jujutsu. Now my right shoulder rotator cuff is trashed and I loathe the pain this thing will cause. Then there’s the violence of the rifle that makes it a difficult monster to tame. I’d much rather shoot my PCPs or CO2 rifles.

Yeah I know, I’m a wimp.
