« on: January 16, 2016, 02:46:13 PM »
Should this o-ring be in the groove or where it currently is?

I don't have one, but my educated guess would be in the groove.  Then lube with a little silicone grease, not a lot...just enough to still allow it to seal.  Hopefully a member with a 909 will chime in.

That's what it looks like to me too. That means I got a grand total of ten for $10 shots at Pyramyd and about six shots here at home before the o-ring blew out.  Ding dang durn it. Guess I'll have to order the proper tools to take this thing apart.

Ok, I just answered my own question. Looked at an image I made of my 909s when I first got it.

And it shows the o-ring in the groove.

I need to order a spanner that fits the rifle, and not sure if there are any other specialty tools needed.

I think I recall running some unsized .457 bullets through the rifle that were really tight fitting, and one made a louder pop than the others. After that the rifle didn't seem to have quite as much umph.

AirVenturi said to grease up the o-ring with silicone grease and close the breech, leave over night then see if it shrank back to original size. Did that and seems ok for now.

Hi Steve,
Get me the o-Ring Dimensions and I will see to sourcing some in Urethane.  I can Dry fire my Marauders with the bolt open and the O-Rings stay in place.
