HELP! What inserts fit the Air Venturi globe sight?
« on: February 21, 2021, 07:09:46 AM »
I ordered an Air Venturi Globe front sight as a test to see if I could mount this type of globe sight and it comes with one insert. Does anybody here know where I might find more inserts that fit this sight? I have the 17A type Lymans and some other styles but have not received the Air Venturi Globe sight yet and wondered what fit it.

Thanks in advance,
Boomer

I have a Hill EC-3000 compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your tank as a courtesy (4,250 PSI limit).

Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/Front-Inserts-Weihrauch-Beeman-Rifles/dp/B004LS5O5I
That can't be right -- they cost more than the globe sight and no mention that they fit the Air Venturi globe sight.

Yes, there' not cheap! The housing is simple enough to make. However, the inserts have to be very cleanly cut. Reminds me of the old Lyman peep sights. The mount itself came with a rather large-holed peep, but the precisions ones cost more than the mount.
