Lunchtime Rat
« on: March 23, 2020, 11:34:48 AM »
I was surprised to see this guy out mid-day.  But, with having to work from home, I was able to sneak out and take a shot that proved fatal!

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

I don't know where you're located, but Steve is in the land of milk and honey. Not to speak of... High taxes, a dwindling supply of hunting areas, and no leaded ammo, PERIOD!

We've all been trying to get him to move back to Florida, however, one more competitor to Bullfrog (aka Travis), and the state would sink into the Gulf of Mexico.

We'd love to have him back in Florida!  Plenty of hunting land here and pretty lax rules on air guns and even firearms!  I live in the Panhandle of Florida, between Pensacola and Destin.

I lived in Orlando from 76-91. Mom is still there as are a lot of good friends. But the heat, humidity and bugs drove me away. Can’t do it anymore!

My rats have gone into hiding. Guess I need to increase the peanut butter.

Good shooting! No rat like a dead rat!

I grew up in Orlando (Pinecastle/Edgewood area), graduating from Oak Ridge HS in 76.  Joined the AF in 80 and pretty much haven't been back other than to visit family.  My Mom is still in Orlando also.  The weather here in the Panhandle is much better than in Orlando!

You and Travis (Bullfrog) should look each other up. I have never met Travis, but he can't be all that bad if he's an airgunner!

Small World!

I do miss surf fishing at Playlinda Beach, and Canoe fishing the Banana River, Mosquito Lagoon, and fresh water fishing in the Kissimmee chain, Winter Park Chain, and every mud hole between Orlando and UCF. Yeah, I always had a Canoe on the roof of my car and rod and reel in the trunk. But the heat! Nope, nope, nope.  Used to have a girl friend in Pensacola. Ooooh la la.

Careful now!

I've had a lot of girl friends in my life, but true friends, not too many!
