It is a sad state of affairs, when you discover that airgun-related videos on YouTube, are more interesting and entertaining, than either regular network and/or premium-channel offerings! But there is one aspect to watching some of these videos, and that is the lack of understanding about animal-borne diseases. I know I sound like a broken record about this issue, but until you suffer from one of the myriad of animal-borne diseases, you haven’t a clue!

I was lucky when I contacted Bubonic Plague, because I had just started a round of Ciprofloxacin® to cure up a bladder infection. Ciprofloxacin® is one of the antibiotics used to fight bubonic plague, as well as urinary infections. Nonetheless, I was really sick for several weeks!

I would hope, those same airgun hunters referenced here, and anyone visiting these pages, would take more care in handling their game for obvious reasons.

I won’t reiterate all of the types of diseases you can get from mishandling game. But suffice to say, you don’t want to catch any of them! So read this! https://www.avma.org/resources/public-health/disease-precautions-hunters

Precisely why I use one of these to pickup my dead rats and mice:
