AMAZED at the .257 cal: 1st Coyote of 2016 at 120 yards!
« on: January 18, 2016, 03:27:22 PM »
Since a couple people are doing the "1st of 2016", here is mine.  Taken on 1-11-16.

PLEASE READ MY BLOG FOR THE COMPLETE STORY and MORE PICS:  http://tofazfou.blogspot.com/

There is info on Nick at Nielson Specialty Ammo and here AND on the GTA as Nielsonammo (http://nielsenspecialtyammo.com/).  Nick has graciously allowed me to test some of his new swaged ammo in .357 and .257 and i'm finding it not only accurate but very well swaged and thought out (bullet designs).  More to come on these projectiles and Nick as I complete more testing.

Also, there is NO VIDEO!

Thanks AJ.  I really hate i did not get a chance to video this one.  The "BEST" shots are always the ones people never see (that phrase is soooo true).

Oh man i wish i could.  Or any of us.  Sad part is, it would be FREE and cost the locals (City) NOTHING.  I would for sure do it for free. HECK, i would even pay a small fee if necessary to hunt those dogs....lol.  But it won't happen within the city in Ca.  Like you, i'm just not too sure how easy i would feel launching pellets in a residential area.  It can be done though

They used to pay a guy to thin the coyotes, but for some reason they stopped. I also heard that soneone saw a guy drive away with his pickup truck bed loaded with dead coyotes. Not sure I believe it.

For sure someone would call the cops. Gonna have to lose a bunch more pets before something is done. I know some folks are ready to thin the coyotes out. Maybe I can make myself available to a neighbor whose backyard borders open space. The Sumatra would be very quiet when shot from indoors...

Steve,

Befriending and talking to ALL your neighbors really helps.  When i said it can be done, i was referring to a friend i have who lives in California and in a cul de sac and his neighbor are all soooooo cool with him using his airgun to get rid of pest.  He is very careful and HE CLEANS UP HIS MESS and leave no evidence.  The neighbors really love it cause they don't HEAR anything or SEE anything but they KNOW his is doing his duty.........lol........... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) 8)

Thank you sir!  I try and be different.  My niche is that i CUSTOMIZE all my guns cause thats what i do to all my vehicles and such.  So I'm glad you like what you have seen.

That means a lot..........

So after a talk with the Colorado DOW, no hunting of any furbearers (coyotes included) with an AG.  Now my personal battle starts.  Monday I call to start a Citizen Petition.  Wish me luck and send backup.

Give 'em hell!!  I hope your petition gets large and loud and opens eyes to the states game departments everywhere.
