The slugs are .252 and weigh 40 grains
I have to say these look amazing great job Nick .
Now just have to find a little time to try them out in the Sumatra.
Here is a photo of them
Also the packaging was perfect
Thank you Nick

Dave

Waiting on your results with the Sumatra. Though I have a LW barrel on mine.

In a roundabout way I acquired Chuck's first barrel. Funny story. All good tho! I didn't know he was selling his Sumatra, last time I talked to him was in early January I think.
I think I emailed Chuck about this site, funny he isn't here. He's an enthusiastic wealth of info on these things.
Since you have a Sumatra you are pretty set on the power. But I think you still NEED a Flex. >:(

Hell yeah.  Chuck tried to get me to buy his Sumatra with the after-market barrel, but alas... :'(

Still have Flex time on my mind.

Nick makes some great stuff, his hollow points work great out of the Sumatra long gun and carbine. I've tested his .252 45gr with great success. Longest range tested with long gun was 82meters  I shot some impressive groups at that range. Average size was 11/4" for a 6 shot group, if I was to measure 3 shot groups I would have had  a few as small as 1/2"  Nielsen Ammo is great stuff guys!! The Sumatra guns love this ammo, don't think the critters will  ;D I didn't have much success with the round nose ammo, groups were very large with different power settings and fill pressures. I spoke with Nick and suggested a lighter grain HP bullet for the Carbine might help with flatter trajectory. Reason I think this will work is because the Carbine loves the 34gr JSB pellets in full power. I suggested a 36-40gr .252 HP the 45gr worked great out to 60-65yds. Was a little loopy at longer ranges, but that's in my Carbine might be better in others. This is great stuff his .250 34gr worked so sweet in my WAR tuned Mrod. I can't wait to test Nick's other ammo as he comes out with it. So if you need or want to shoot heavy lead in your Sumatras contact Nick at Nielsen Ammo.

Hope this helps Fellas

I still haven't stretched out the .254 " 42.5 grain slugs he sent me for my BT65 . I did test them at 850fps with the choke removed from the barrel at 40 yards and they did about 1" groups . Very nice product for sure. I'll be getting some more as soon as the weather gets better.
