My Warp .30 cal
« on: March 18, 2017, 09:04:00 AM »
Well I got my Warp a week ago now and wanted to say thank you to Travis for inviting me to come pick it up at his beautiful house in the woods. Well this is my 3rd air gun from war and as always it is of great quality, love how compact it is and it is a power house.  I ordered mine with the 480cc carbon fiber tank with a regulator and it is a .30 cal. It has a nylon hammer which makes cocking the Airgun effortlessly which is a real joy. Makes shooting a breeze!

So as far as power goes, the reg is set at 2250 psi and can be filled to 3600 psi. I am getting 35 shots off of a fill and it's shooting 44.75 grain kings at 780fps average making 60fpe. This is exactly what I wanted from a gun this size which is more than enough power. I'm am certain the power could be cranked up in this war gun. But if I need that I'll go to my flex .30 which makes 90fpe. Currently I have a Hawke 4.5-14x42mm and quick detach rings, foregrip that doubles as a bipod, and a laser sight for the night time trash pandas. (Aka raccoon) also have a rubber butt pad and check riser on the AR stock it comes with. So with all this it weighs in at 10lbs 8oz and measures 33.5inches. This is my set up for me and I couldn't be more happy with it. I can hold it by the foregrip with it extended from body and it balances perfectly without having it shouldered. Standing with this gun shouldered  I am very confident in making shots on small game would be a breeze. I really can't say enough how much I enjoy this compact little power house.  Thanks again Travis for the invite and making a quality American made Airgun.

Almost forgot accuaracy is good but I've only shot it up to 25 yards with one ragged hole. Once the ground squirrels come out I'll be doing my annual perge at my buddy's house, I'll be sure to put that up because I know the warp will hammer them. Going to try out the predator polymags, they should work great at these speeds. (780fps)
