New to this group from Costa Rica!
« on: August 16, 2017, 10:29:14 AM »
I retired from curriculum development and teaching. And, from 1999 to 2009 I was also a recreational firearm shooter and the owner/operator of a Federal Firearm License gun dealership while modding and gunsmithing at the same time. In 2010 I moved to an area with very restrictive gun laws and turned my interests to air guns as they were unrestricted.

My research into air guns led me to pellet guns and  my interest in pellet guns prompted me to begin work on, what I called, "The Airgun Encyclopedia" and four years later I published "The Airgun Dictionary: A Study Guide.” The Airgun Dictionary is currently available on Amazon and is also available in Kindle e-books and it is possible to download a free app to read the book on any internet device. This is the first and only airgun dictionary meant for folks to discover..."What those guys on the air gun forum are talking about."

There are over 2,000 terms and 1,500 definitions related to air guns. The book addresses bb gun, pellet gun, target shooting, hunting, gunsmithing and modification related terms. I continue to update The Airgun Dictionary as I plod along in the development of The Airgun Encyclopedia in the form of a series of Airgun Reference Books. I want to assist other first time buyers to make well informed airgun buying decisions.

It is indeed nice to be published. And, welcome to the group. You will find that the bunch of guys and gals here, are all sharers of knowledge, so you will feel right at home.

It appears you're in Costa Rico. One of my fellow amateur radio fields lives there (Norberto, TI2TL). He and I talk to one another quite often. He keeps telling me to common down, so perhaps I'll get the urge soon.

Again, welcome aboard.

Thanks guys,

It is a pleasure to be here... I found the group when doing online research and saw a long thread that R. Sterne had complied. Finding he had his own "topic" sealed the deal LOL.

I think you would enjoy Costa Rica especially if you visit in the US winter because that is the CR summer.
