Hey all.  I'm Joe aka Monkeydad1969.  I have been out of the forum(s) for a bit and now I find myself playing catch up with all that has transpired in my absence.  So, in order to greet all the new members, and not going thru all the previous new member posts...I will say to all, in several keystrokes of the keyboard---"HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE KILLER OF YOU WALLET, FAMILY LIFE AND SANITY, WELCOME TO AIRGUNNING."

Believe me, you are done.  Not at any moment in the evolution of man has one had the desire to literally break themselves.  The compulsion to spend your life savings away has never been stronger.  Not even with the strongest desires we come into contact with.  But...be strong, be vigilant.  Give in to your air desires.  Look at all the airgunning classifieds.  Call the tuners, custom builders, look at all the online retail sites.  Visit your local airgun store, go to the pawn shops.  Peruse Craigslist.  You have now been properly introduced to me and the Guild.

Luv U!

The Mad Monkey

So folks are honest in their reporting, and others are blunt! But I for one can't argue, as Joe id dead on! I shudder everything I add up what I've spent these last few years. I don't think I'm going to do the numbers again, as I would REALLY be depressed!

Thanks for the truth, Joe!

It would be best to spend the money on a milling machine and lathe so you can make your own parts! Saves money and those tools are very useful for a lot of other things!

Funny you should mention that. lathe.  I was just able to fix a new shower lever part in the lathe. I was able to use a $50 E-Bay part instead of the store bought $175 Lever kit.  (That's just for the decorative part, no valve.)  So I was able to buy more pellets with monies I saved.

That's my story and I am sticking to it!!!!

Well, Michael, what you saved isn't but about 350 pellets or so. Fact is, I know a guy who bought a used car instead of a new one, because he needed a new HP compressor! When you get that much dedication, I'll change me tune.
