Hello from Palm Beach County, Fl
« on: December 31, 2016, 07:35:06 PM »
Hello everyone.

My name is Mark.   Been following Travis (Bullfrog) for quite some time.  Built a few of the Florida Cracker Bird traps with my son, have a few airguns but recently added a .25 marauder to the mix.  Been playing with a friends .22 armada and was impressed.

Have a few springers, one nitro piston and the marauder now.  Looking forward to hunting with it.

Thanks guys.  I have been reading a ton.   Trying to figure out a few things first.   Biggest thing i noticed and only have run 3 magazines thru it but first impressions the bolt is pretty hard to cock and appears to stick.  Gonna pull the hammer out and polish it and the tube.  Remove the lawyer spring and install a depinger since the factory one appears to be crap.

Anyone know if WAR is still making the SSG for the rifle they have been out of stock for a while and don't appear to be coming back in anytime soon.

Second I would very much like to get 24 shots out of this rifle with moderate power for hunting tree rats out to 50 yds.  Doesn't seem all that hard to do but am looking for guidance or thread links on where to start.

Well, supposedly, Travis has a newer version of the SSG in the works. At least he keeps promising one!

I own a .25 Marauder Travis WARized, replete with bottle and regulator. It does what it is supposed to do, but the darn thing shoots better than I can! That is one thing I can't change, even though I keep trying!

In any case, welcome to the Guild.

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.
