Hello from a newb from the south in MS.
« on: November 15, 2017, 02:13:45 PM »
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
In general my current activities with Airguns right now are plinking and killing tin cans out 140 feet.
I'm interested in getting deeper into a traditional spring Piston gun (a good one). Also into a better grade Multi pumpet, and also into entry level PCPs.
So far my Arsenal is containing:

Crosman Fire NP .177 call. Rifle, Simmons 4x32 Scope.
Bear River Sportsman .177 Cal. Multi Pump Rifle, used Tasco 4x32 Scope.
Crosman P1377 American Classic Brown .177 cal. Multi pump Pistol, unscoped and unmodded.

So that's about it for now.
And always have fun, and happy plinking.

Hi, welcome the forums, neighbor!  I'm about an hour north of you in Laurel, and have been an avid airgunner and tuner for a few years now and have several PCPs, MSPs, CO2, and springers, a shooting range in the yard out to 70 yards, and a lot of pellets :)  So if you want to try some different rifles and pistols, I'd be happy to have you over.  I'll PM you with my contact info.  If not, no worries!

Welcome aboard!

While I like PCPs, pumpers have heir place. My backyard shooter is a Benjamin 397, with a TKO suppressor. It is so quiet, all you hear is the hammer falling against the valve stem. Pumping it back up makes more noise that I would like, however. At close ranges, RedFires (really little polymags), are sure-fire squirrel killers!
