Avator checking in.
« on: March 16, 2017, 12:47:11 AM »
Just found ya'll. Know some of you. For the others... been around airguns for 3+ years. In that time I've assembled quite a collection of vintage pumpers along with anything else that slings lead. Latest purchase is the .22 SynRod.
Thanks for having me.

EDIT: OK, how in the hell did I miss the rules? Someone draw me a map please?

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Still snuggling up to the .22. Weekend looks good weather wise so maybe I'll get some numbers on it before I send the stock off the Brother Shadow for it's new makeover.
Trying to get through all the info on TSS vs. Reg. Looking like Reg may the way to go. Not trying to break fpe records just get the best efficiency out of the gun in the 25 - 30 fpe range. I've seen the 70 shot string at 27 give or take... that was with 18 gr. I buy local so my go to pellets will probably be more like 14.3.

Thanks Chris;
I haven't had it long. Just getting started with it. I'll save the long version for another thread.
I've been tinkering for awhile. Bought 3 of the FD-PCP GenI guns with .177 and .22 barrels each and played with the BStaley until I was happy. Only got one of them left. Did some HPA stuff with the 2240 platform and some hacksaw and file chopping on some springers. Got crazy with the Daisy 880s. and busy with the B1-X,B2-X and B3-X stuff. Last count our arsenal consists of around 100 guns of all flavors and few PB guns thrown in. The bulk of it being vintage pumpers.... Bens, Dans and Crosmans. Pistols, rifles and carbines.... if lead comes out the end of it... I want it.
