Have you ever noticed someone sticking their toe into the pool water to see how cold it is? And then jumping right in? Well, that is just about it for "adult" airguns!

Welcome aboard.

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

Welcome!

Yup, common cycle.

First we buy a really nice springer, then we decide we need a PCP

Then we buy a PCP, and decide pumping is crap, we need a tank

Then we summon the courage to spend more money on a tank than most of our firearms cost

Then we think, "hey, I got a tank, it would be easy to buy more than one rifle"

Then we buy lots of guns in different configurations and calibers

Then we think, "this tank is draining fast, I need a compressor

Then we buy a compressor and realize

We can't afford the divorce because the airguns took our money   :o

Thankfully, I've stopped at step 5, and sometimes my wife shoots with me.   ;)

That is funny stuff right there! After about 2 weeks of research, by reading many airgunner's experiences on forums and YouTube, I've been able to skip some of those earlier steps. I dove right in by deciding to get a PCP and tank...well tank is yet to be found but I will NOT be going the 'hand pump till your heart stops' route.

I don't doubt it...my trouble is finding the room to store all this stuff. I'm a fulltime RV'er

If you have a Winnebago View, you store all your good stuff under the bed!

Quite a rig you have there Phreedom. You can always add a pull trailer behind it. You know, for more AG's. ;D
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Building duck boats now that I'm "retired".

Get a 4500 PSI carbon tank.  Skip the metal scuba.  You can thank me later.

Thanks! We actually just made the switch to full-time about 7 months ago. We are renting our sticks & bricks house out, let them pay for our mortgage, and really enjoying it so far. Doing this allows us to put about 70% of our income away for retirement.

OP...sorry for going off basis here, not trying hi-jack the thread.

Welcome joek and just deal.  You are going to be broke!  Just let it happen, be accepting of it and go shoot.  At this time I have not found my Zen...even with the purchase of my compressor, the tanks and all the shooters.  I still have caliber needs...or shall I say niches to fill.
