I am about halfway all your posts on the atnowners site. Holy Cow!

If I owned ATN I would immediately hire you as product owner and lead quality assurance engineer, and I would pay you handsomely and I would insist that the x-sight ll’s would get as many bugs fixed as humanly possible.  I’d put you in charge of the x-sight lll and let you determine what functionality makes it in.

All important and essential!

I should write an exposé on the X-Sight II, as I have used it for over 2 years. Alas, it is on its way to Steveoh, so he can get a first hand account.

Please do. I ain’t skeered.

Alan, this really is a great in depth review of the X-Sight II 5x20. This is the kind of review that brings folks to the AirgunGuild and encourages them to stick around.

What psi are you filling to?  I fill my DAQ .457LA  to 3250psi.  Some fill to 3500 but I don't.

I believe I filled to 3k as specified by Dennis. The last time I was at the range, I ran out of air in the big tank and a smaller tank. So I was trying to conserve air. (if that's possible with a DAQ).

Welcome aboard!

Airgun Guild Forum Announcements / Forum Update Tonight

Sometime tonight I'll be doing a forum update to bring it up to the latest version. It shouldn't but a few minutes.

CANCELLED FOR TONIGHT. The update site is having issues, and I don't want to take the chance of getting corrupted software.

Thanks Steve, by empty do you mean it dumps the reservoir on the second shot?? Looking forward to seeing your numbers😂

Yep, dumps the reservoir on second shot. BOOOOOOOM!

Funny with my earmuffs on it still sounds like BOOOOOOOM!, but the 909s, and the DAQ .58 Pistol have a hollow whoop sound. Serious business this .58 Short Rifle is.

I cast a bunch of .575 round balls when I first got the rifle, and also have a .575 minie mold I need to try out. I just need to get away and go shoot the thing.

Does anybody have any numbers on this gun. I'm on his list and looking forward to receiving it. Thanks

I have the same DAQ, but I've yet to chrony it.  I have one day under my belt at the range, and I'm going to say that it is a beast. Kicks like a mule, and roars. Sounds like a powder burner.  I shot it with my 909s and I know for sure the DAQ makes the 909s pale in power. When I get to shoot it again I'll chrony it and report back.

Oh, it sucks the air out of a big tank mighty fast.  2 shots, refill. Of course it really isn't broken in, so I suspect that after breaking in, you might be able to get three useable shots. Maybe. My first dozen or two shots I'd get two shots, and the DAQ was empty.  :o

Good deal Alan!  I have a habit of getting very involved in communities like the Guild when our interests merge. Can’t help myself. I lend my expertise and stick around, make a bunch of new friends and spend way too much money. Boat building, Cummins powered trucks, motorcycles, photography and Airguns are in my blood, and keep my wallet light. Oh well can’t very well spend it when pushing up daisies, can I?

Any ideas for increasing membership and participation? I’m all ears!

Thank you Alan!
We're all very lucky to have a place to call our own, without undue and unwarranted intrusions by "upper management"—that scenario will not change! In fact, Steveoh, and the rest of the team, are still in place. The only real change, I'm now paying the bills!

Anyone wishing to contact me may do so by PM (Alan), email (k0bg@plateautel,net), or by phone (575-626-4785, 7 to 7 MT please).

Let's all continue to enjoy ourselves.

Welcome! That’s a mighty purty air rifle!

Airgun Classifieds / Re: Classified Rules...Sortof
« on: December 29, 2017, 08:26:29 PM »
So The Guild doesn't have many rules but the Classifieds need a couple boundaries per a couple of our esteemed Members.
1. You must have a minimum of 10 posts. This prevents those that only want to post a classified and have no intention of contributing to/benefitting from the knowledge and information of The Guild.
2. And..You must be a member of the Guild for a minimum of 2 weeks. See reason above.
3. Post price of item or items. Makes it easier for those that may be interested.
4. A little additional info:
If your item hasn't sold in ~6 months, it will be deleted.. probably. You are more than welcome to relist.
Commercial classifieds- please contact an Admin for assistance.
And as always, mark your item SOLD on the subject line when the deal is done so we can move it to the Sold Items category....
Thank you, That helps keep the Classifieds clean.
These rules are subject to change so check them every so often.

Most Excellent!
