PCP, C02, and Helium Powered Airguns / 850 Hammerli
« on: September 09, 2017, 06:25:29 PM »
I had a 850 Hammerli giving to me today. It was in the Harvey flood. The man that owned it was letting an elderly gentleman use it at our monthly shoots. The elderly man kept in a case and you can see it on the barrel. The guy that owned it just bought the elderly man a new and gave me the old.
Took it apart and cleaned everything. All seems fine. I plan on putting a CF tube on the barrel and make a HPA tube to convert it to air. Also make a LDC for it.

General Airgun Forum Discussion / Is this Calculator Correct
« on: July 18, 2017, 08:52:59 AM »
I found this on the web and want to make sure it is giving me the numbers I'm looking for. It's for seeing how much force is being applied to valve/endcap on a air cylinder.

Thanks Ricky

Airgun Ammo / Smelting Reclaimed Pellets
« on: February 27, 2017, 04:05:31 AM »
I finally got a chance to smelt down the 50 pounds of lead I got. I added in the pellets I reclaimed from my pellet box. Some of the pellets did not want to melt. I had the temp up to around 750° and still didn't melt. I just scooped them back out as I getting the dredge off the top. Most of them were wadcutters. I'll have to look at my pellet stock and see which ones they might be. Makes me wonder what they were made from. Hopefully didn't mess up my lead for casting.

One for checking leaks in the regulator and the other to check pressure output of the regulator after you have rebuilt or changed the set pressure. Both have their own pressure release screw built in. Using them together you no longer have to fill a whole bottle just to check for leaks or set pressure changes.

$50 each shipped     Regulator not included.
I also have a M18x1.5 tester that I can include for an extra $15.

OFF TOPIC / Looking for a knife
« on: August 30, 2016, 04:03:33 PM »
I'm searching for a knife. I have 2 things I want, assisted open and the handle has to be Titanium. Not Titanium coated but actually made from Titanium. I know Gerber, Kershaw and few other brands are good but can anyone suggest other brands. Looking for price of under $75. This is for a project anything that meets those 2 requirements will work for me.

Thanks Ricky

Airgun Optics and Accessories / Hawke Scope Ring Inserts 25 MOA
« on: August 27, 2016, 09:15:42 PM »
Hawke just started selling these here in the states. They give you 25 MOA. I ordered a set. They will be in next week. Rings and inserts for about $35 that give you 25 MOA is about as cheap as I could find.

The Garage / Fill Adapter Repair
« on: August 20, 2016, 05:35:14 PM »
The oring in my fill adapter gave out on me. I did a search on how to replace it and came up with this. The knob has locktite on it to keep it from backing off when you use it. Just simply keep unscrewing it until the locktite breaks loose and then screw the stem out the other side. Replace oring and reassemble. Well that was a failure. It ripped the tiny shoulder of the oring groove off, jacked up the threads in the housing.

I made a replacement stem but of a 2 piece design. I actually only made the inside portion and cut the thread part off the the old stem. I cleaned up the threads and assembled it.
