Umarex Gauntlet 23 yard pellet tests
« on: December 04, 2017, 09:40:17 AM »
Hi,
I made a video of the initial groups with an out of the box Gauntlet, using out of the box pellets, no barrel cleaning, no trigger work, no pellet sorting or anything of the sort.  :)
I literally aired up the gun, mounted the scope, sighted in at 10 yards,  then out to 23 to test pellets.  Up to this point the gun has 65 rounds through it.  I likey!
Hajimoto's teardown video (he has a post in this category) is excellent if you want to see some of the more detailed stuff..great video Haj!

Nice video and thank you for sharing your experience with the Umarex Gauntlet. Below is my 20yard 20 shot card with shot analysis. I am pretty impressed with the little rifle. Its the little engine that could, LOL

It seems to me, that if UMAREX can build a $299, regulated PCP, you'd think Benjamin could add a "real" regulator to a Marauder for $499!

And while I'm on the Marauder... It has taken Crosman-Benjamin a long time to offer a picatinny breach for the Benjamin. Unfortunately, they haven't offered it for sale on a completed Marauder! Too bad the Gauntlet doesn't have one.
