Pressure testing Alloy tubes to failure

 Lloyd Sikes aka airgun labs helped us here at JSA by using his equipment and vast knowledge to burst test our Light weight air tubes. Thank You Lloyd for your hard work Sir!!!

The test should answer questions about strength, thats for sure.

That's great!  The tube "fails" but the parts remain contained! 

When I used to Burst test my Hydraulic cylinders it was very anti climatic.  But I had larger hoop stresses on the 3.5 inch bore 5 inch stroke cylinder.  It would swell (Yeild) then poof relieve pressure.
