These tubes rock! 1.5lb savings exactly and makes the gun just feel way better.

1.5 pounds is a lot of weight to shed off this very heavy gun. Me likey. Now if I can find a lightweight scope I think I will like this rifle finely. More money to spend going down the rabbit hole. LOL

Leupold makes one of the lightest rifle scopes on the market at 12.5 ounces. There are two issues with this VX light-weight; ruggedness and cost. Even a slight bump will dent it, and at nearly $600 street price, you really cry out loud when you do dent it!

I don't like people to see me cry.  I think I will take the extra few ounces for a more cost effective scope.....

I do, however, look forward to the gen1 tubes delivering.  I have a .25 Marauder in a Boyd Blaster stock that is my hands down favorite for squirrel hunting.  But I can feel it after it's been on my shoulder for a few hours of hill hiking.  It needs a weight loss plan!!

The aluminum air tube is the answer to my light weight build.

This opens the door for a lighter double airtube project. Imagine increasing your shot count with slugs or high power tune.
