That gun putting some power out.  Those ES numbers look very good.  That gun is a winner.

24 shots at 60 FPE = 1440 FPE.... from about a 800 psi (55 bar) drop in pressure.... How big is your reservoir?.... In a stock MRod that would be 55 x 13 = 717 CI, which means 1440 / 717 = 2.01 FPE/CI....  :o

I estimated the 800 psi drop for 24 shots by using (24/30) x 1000, which is your pressure drop for 30 shots.... should be really close....

Travis is correct on that it has the Talon Tunes res extension, WAR valve and NBH with custom short double wound spring. Then a .187 TP and 25" 25 ACP TJ liner barrel. It was caniborrowsomeammos I just installed a res extention and played with the tuning.

so that is 17.9 CI x 55 bar = 983 CI.... The efficiency is 1440 / 983 = 1.46 FPE/CI.... which is pretty darn good at that power....

No sir reply #4 has the specs of the gun. .187 tp and 25" TJ liner barrel in .25 acp.

I agree. I was only expecting maybe 16 shots if I was lucky at around 60fpe with a good enough ES. Granted the 24 shots aren't under 4% but at 4.5% at around 3000 psi i think I can live with it.

That's a nice string.  Analyzed for 3.5% or better ES shows this.

Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Building duck boats now that I'm "retired".

would adding a bit more pre-load and lightening the hammer flatten out the string?

Thanks John and yes his slugs are amazing in this gun. Accuracy is exceptional with the 47gr and 34gr have tightened up to almost just as accurate being slowed down.

I'm wondering the same thing. I might try another 1/4 turn on the HS to maybe tighten it up a bit. As for the TP John made it from acetal (not sure on spelling on that).
