.25 Mrod Tune
« on: June 06, 2017, 12:07:49 PM »
Finally, after lots of parts swapping and tinkering got a tune that I'm satisfied with.
Shooting "43.2" grtain Eunjins, that actually weigh 42.2 avg (sorted).
3100 fill

1. 850
2. 856
3. 864
4. 868
5. 870
6. 871
7. 877
8. 872
9. 872
10. 873
11. 869
12. 864
13. 857
14. 855
15. 848
16. 842
ending pressure 2250
Avg. velocity 863
ES 35 (4%)
St. Dev. 10.4
Avg. FPE 69.8
Eff. 1.28 fpe/ci

Been chasing something like this for a long time. What has been so elusive to me was the 4% spread for two mags. May not be that big a deal but it was kind of a goal of mine. Purpose for this tune is to protect the homestead from our ever present chicken thieves, coons, possums, etc. I was pleased with the efficiency as well. Time to stop tinkering for a bit and do some shooting. Tuning is a real pain with a hand pump. For those interested mods include: MDS hammer, TSS, and WAR valve with .187" porting on everything (exhaust, TP, barrel)

Just thought I'd share,
Chris
