.25 caliber, Benjamin Breach O-ring
« on: October 22, 2018, 12:46:05 PM »
I think the standard number is 020, but I can't find my notes. It is .25 ID, and .375 OD. Turns out, this is the same o-ring that fits inside a female Foster fitting. And I don't know if Viton or Nitrile is the best material is use.

A little help if you don't mind.

#10    Some say a buna last longer than the OEM. I don't know I don't own a Mrod.

I know I'm running a buna oring in my .308 and have had no issues. I just keep a little silicon oil on it. I use rc shock oil.

Urethane will last longer and stay in place better than Buna when it comes that day you pull the trigger on an open bolt. ;)
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Building duck boats now that I'm "retired".

I don't know what Benjamin uses, but I assume Nitrile. Since I got the correct-sized pellet probe, I haven't lost an o-ring. As I said above, this one was for the Foster fitting. I did use a Benjamin, and it is working well. I bought 100 Buna ones from Amazon, for the same price as I buy about 10 from Benjamin.

And again, thanks guys!
