Cute little pup. Probably hungry since you are blasting his food source. :)
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Grinding out a living on the farm.

Plenty of rats to go around. I have one or two coming around now for the free peanut butter.

Ok, I'll admit it wasn't a puppy, more like a chicken thief. But if chickens aren't available he will most likely eat Steve's cute little rats. And mice and ground squirrels and birds and...................................................
Technically pretty beneficial to Steve.
I would have shot it. ;)

It was 3am. I was sleeping. And I do have chickens but they were locked up.

We have a couple of “dogs” roaming the neighborhood here in Fairfield, too.
They found a few turkeys not roosting in the trees as they should be.
Carnage.

In the past two weeks I’ve had a Turkey and now fox in the fenced in backyard bordered by folks who have big mean dogs.

In Kansas they don’t appreciate chicken thieves.
My friend has a Chesapeake Bay Retriever who has a special bark when a Yote enters the yard (20 acres)..
Then he is introduced to a .223 from a S&W MP15:
