Taking the kids shooting VIDEO
« on: February 23, 2016, 11:12:19 PM »
I took the 2 youngest kids to the range on Monday because they were off school.  Monday was big bore day.  Trying to get them to work on trigger control and holding their aim points.

The big bore no problem for them, they each own a Mossberg .243 powder burner and have shot my other powder burner guns. Starting to work on more target shooting and not just pull the trigger anymore.

Just thought it might encourage others to shoot with their kids.  They are the future of airgunning.

Cool! My 9 year old son likes to shoot, but 13 year old daughter not so much.

Funny when I first got my RWS-Diana350 Magnum, I came home to find my wife and her friend shooting it in the backyard. I was shocked, pleased and amazed.

I have been chewing on the fact that we have one range in the area that has been closed for months (for maintenance supposedly).  United Sportsmen really needs to communicate with folks.

There are massive amounts of open grasslands around here to the North and I am annoyed we have no access to these lands for target shooting and plinking. Local police have a range that's seldom used and I wonder about getting access to that perhaps for kid's airgun education and fun.

Good on you for passing on the addiction to airguns!

That's cool, I like seeing people bringing the kids out.  Get them away from the video games and teach them about guns / airguns.
