Any plans to release a MMW  hammer forged .177 Mrod barrel?  'Cause after all, why should those LW guys get all the love?

Thanks for the question.  The current answer is no, I don't have any plans to do a .177 hammer forged barrel.  The .177 Marauders shoot fine, and all the .177 field target shooters want a big, heavy, stiff barrel.  The hammer forging process does not allow for a large OD and tiny ID.

The overall lack of prospective customers and the high cost of developing a barrel make me believe it is not a good business model.  I may be wrong about this assessment, so I will keep
my ear to the ground.

I don't see .25 cal barrels either.

Do I just order a liner and send it to you for fitting in an MRod?

How does that work?

I can supply .25 cal hammer forged barrels.  They are .590" diameter, 1:22 twist.  They are the same price as the .22 Hammer Forged; $210

I can also machine the LW (or other barrel) to fit your M-rod.  The cost is $125 with return shipping. This includes a new front shroud spacer for the LW barrels.  I can't machine the choked end more than .050" smaller, according to Gerd Walther.

Been working hard to get parts done and out the door so I don't visit here very much.  Best way to contact me is text or email.

Regards,
Jim
