Which is your least favorite airgun????
« on: March 23, 2018, 01:39:44 PM »
Just a take on Steve's post. Which gun do you not shoot? Being it isn't accurate, too heavy, too loud, just plain butt ugly(some only like pretty guns only, you know ::) )

Mine is the Sumatra, it just doesn't fit me right, and growing up with a '94 I can't get used to the grip on this thing. Also shooting off a bench in a vise, that dern leever gets in the way >:(.
Well little shooters, what say??

Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Building duck boats now that I'm "retired".

The one I sold the quickest.... my .22 cal B-28 (RWS/Diana 350 clone).... It had lots of power, was a bear to cock, tore up two scopes, bruised my shoulder and wore out my arms cocking it.... besides being the least accurate airgun I ever had because it was soooooooooo hold sensitive (and I never did figure it out)....

Daisy 880.

Terrible soda straw barrel and an even worse trigger.  No amount of tinkering would make that POS group worth a flip.  It was cheap as dirt so I wouldn't have expected much were it not for the many great-for-the-money reviews.  To this day it is the only airgun purchase that I regret.

My .50 dragon slayer. It came a 150 ft lb gun, eventually got a little over 200 out of it. Great looking, handled well, a beast to cock and cost a lot to feed it.
Modified, sorry guys just realized how that sounded... not my intention.. geez, I embarrassed myself..

Yep, I bought one for a less than a 20 spot, but it isn't too bad accuracy wise,      considering, hehe.

Benjamin trail np pistol, I hate it wish I would have just spent the money on a good bottle of whiskey instead of this POS pistol.

The Umarex Octane . A bitch to cock , a trigger pull you wished a block and tackle to help do the job , the stock thin and not comfortable , heavy . It was powerful enough , and accurate to a degree. I traded it off , and bought a Walther Rotek in .22. That rifle I love ! But the Octane ? A black beast !

I'll do you one better than that. My Octane was so bad, I had to give it away, and even the guy who got it didn't want it! Right Joe?

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

Lol...but it actually is a fun one to shoot (I'm way younger than Alan, so I'm more able to enjoy it).  But it is a 🐻 to cock.

Well since I'm here, my least favorite right now is whatever rifle I'm not currently shooting...lol.

Probably my .30 Corsair wannabe.  Extreme .457 sent it to me and the work was done by a Chris Hunter.  If I ever cross paths with Chris Hunter I'm going to... UUUUHHHGGGGGG!  He did terrible work.  So it sits in my cabinet.  I have shot it.  No real power, but the barrel is accurate as heck.  Going to replace the tube and valve and breech and have the lead/load tray re-worked.

There.  The 🐒 has spoken.

My genuine RES / Diana 350 Magnum Compact Pro in .22 does exactly the same thing. I think I got two tins of pellets through this thing before it killed the RWS brand scope.

I shoot it every now and then because it’s so purty.

But good grief that thing is violent and exhausting.

That sounds like the QB based big bores that Troy Manny was selling over on the Yellow.

After his name got dragged through mud he just up and disappeared.
