I have a 397, and I've installed a SuperSear, and mounted a scope atop the action. On the muzzle end, I installed an adapter with a 6 inch suppressor. Quiet as a church mouse, and 5 pumps equals just over 650 FPS using 7 grain RedFires. Out to about 35 yards, it kills squirrels easily!

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.

I couldn't stand the Evanix Stormpup I had in .357. There was a lot I liked about the design and the valving was very efficient. But the internals were crap. The lever's pins inside that cocked the hammer were made of a very soft metal that wore off, making the gun not only uncockable, but also prone to misfire. The trigger was also terrible until I worked on it. The last straw was the poppet stem breaking just ahead of a road trip hunt. I ended up rebuilding almost all of the gun's intervals with aftermarket parts and metals. It was a good shooter by the time I got rid of it, but I had lost so much confidence in it that I was glad to see it go. I would try another Evanix if I had confidence that they've switched over to better internal materials. And they would need a lighter, adjustable trigger out of the box.

I'd also have to say that my .25 Condor was also falling in this category until I figured out its quirks. Then I fell in love with it.
