Ahhh shucks, I love my Sumatra Carbine! One day I’ll get the long version. :)

You just might at that. I need a website/social site to sell the layout duckboats I build. ;)

Heh, right up my alley. That I can do, and I know little bit about building boats.

I'm just now working up a quote for a 16-17' scull boat for a guy.
Buncha BB guns that I don't get to shoot as much as I like. Building duck boats now that I'm "retired".

I'll do you one better than that. My Octane was so bad, I had to give it away, and even the guy who got it didn't want it! Right Joe?

Lol...but it actually is a fun one to shoot (I'm way younger than Alan, so I'm more able to enjoy it).  But it is a 🐻 to cock.

Well since I'm here, my last favorite right now is whatever rifle I'm not currently shooting...lol.

Probably my .30 Corsair wannabe.  Extreme .457 sent it to me and the work was done by a Chris Hunter.  If I ever cross paths with Chris Hunter I'm going to... UUUUHHHGGGGGG!  He did terrible work.  So it sits in my cabinet.  I have shot it.  No real power, but the barrel is accurate as heck.  Going to replace the tube and valve and breech and have the lead/load tray re-worked.

There.  The 🐒 has spoken.

That sounds like the QB based big bores that Troy Manny was selling over on the Yellow.

After his name got dragged through mud he just up and disappeared.

I thought it was one of his, and that maybe he changed his name so no one knew.  But this guy Chris Hunter lives in New York I believe.

But one never knows.

I almost bought one of his guns, but something seemed just a tiny bit off. His phone number is in Illinois. In one email he said he was in the middle of a corn field harvesting corn.

Likely going to get some flack .... But would say the HATSAN AT-44 synthetic stock
They work well enough, decent trigger too .... accuracy about as consistent as a women during her menstrual cycle  :P * this not a dig on women, just fact of life statement.

Never had a PCP that allowed such radical POI shift due to how held and pressure on fore stock, tank fill pressure etc ... In a synthetic stock a real turd !!

Well if I don't like them I sell them  ;D the gun I HATED the most out of all guns owned and couldn't sell quick enough was a Hatsan BT65 Carnivore .30 that was tuned by Bwalton. Don't get me wrong the rifle performed great but I hated the feel of it and the bolt and trigger were junk to me.

Grossman Nitro trail XL in .25 cal.  I just don't like it.  I will never buy a spring or piston gun again.

Don't base your opinion of all springers on that "special" gun.  IMHO, the springer is not a great platform for .25.  The guns just have to be too powerful to do that large a pellet justice, and that is just too violent a shooting cycle. Much too much movement for target shooting, but a very loopy trajectory for hunting.
But there are some very capable guns in .22 springers that folks have much better success with. I'm a real fan of the Diana model 48,  and I wouldn't mind coming across another Diana 350 in .22. (I recently saw an ad for a .22 350 for $250, I was an idiot for not grabbing that one.)

I agree with Mark, if you get a quality one like a HW or even my Diana 34 pro compact is insanely accurate. At 20 yds it'll hang with my PCPs.

Crossman Titan Nitro Piston (.22 cal, gen 1).

I hated everything about it.  lack of accuracy, overall weight, cocking and trigger mechanics, even a new scope didn't help.

I feel bad that I donated it to my nephew... and frankly I'm kinda wondering how he's gonna have the arm strength to hold that sucker up.

I feel worse when he gets to shoot my PCP and compare the two... but I suppose this is an easy way to introduce him to the concept of setting and achieving goals in life.

Oh, dont get me wrong. I had other springers.  Diana 350 Mag was the best shooter but still prefered the multi pump 20 cal.  The Grossman was bought for my father in law.  I will never buy another.  I dont see any reason to buy a gun just to have one.  Too many PCP GUNS out there i would like to throw money into an inferior platform.  Yea, a good springer is OK but my Warp is insane, my second WARP (arriving soon) will also be insane.  Next will be something new.  Maybe a 9mm or 357 but I'm over the springers.

Sig Saur MCX. Given to me by my Dad which was nice but the thing incorporates the pellet advance with the trigger, hence an awful trigger. Not very accurate or powerful. Fun for just firing off a bunch of pellets quickly with the 30rd mag but no fun to reload.

tbh my fx streamline .22 Its been a muppet of a rifle since the start. Hammer spring kept on moving, then something with the valve broke and it started to leak very fast. Got that repaired and I got a reg leak. Now I have a huma in it and the valve fixed again.

Just today i noticed that it wolfs down air, goes from 230 bar to 190 in 12 pellets. :\ 36 shots on the reg vs 50+ that its supposed to get. Im guessing the tune is out of wack. reg set at 120.

My Benjamin 392. Many folks love this gun but I just never have felt it. Hard to pump, difficult to scope and loud.
