DingDongDinger on Sale
« on: March 27, 2018, 02:47:03 PM »
Yah, everyone's favorite DingDonger is on sale at Harbor Freight for only $9.99.

Don't forget there are 4 or 6 or more frequencies these are available in. I currently have three different ones set up, one for each rat feeding station.

Looks like you need the coupon to get them at this price.

Excellent product that I've had great success with also.  I need to figure out how to moderate the volume a bit on them so I can enjoy my late night yard monitoring without disturbing the rest of the house.

Update - I just called Harbor Freight and they were clueless about how to specify getting 3 monitors with different frequencies / channels.  Anyone crack the code on this recently?  I looked at my last order and I had 2 devices - on the back, each had a different "channel" so I'd be able to know which sensor was being triggered.

First thing I do is open them up, and cut one of the leads to the piezo/speaker thingy. Lights still work. And when I see blink, blink, blink like last night, I know that I have a customer belly up to the peanut butter bar.

Just throwing this out there....
Another idea, especially if you have a hard time slaying those cute little buggars... cuz maybe when you look at them they look back with those big old round innocent eyes... and they kind of have a pleading look in them....
What you do is take that wire that Steveoh cuts and connect it to an air horn, or a klaxon, or somesuch.
It will only take a few nights at most - the neighbors will take care any little critters.... or you. It can be a bit of a gamble.
