Crosman Premier Hollow Points vs JSB 15.9s at 63 yards
« on: March 25, 2018, 05:00:13 PM »
Well it was a beautiful day out but I was shooting terribly today with my d48 and JSBs.   It felt like I was pulling every shot.  (Have you ever had one of those days?)

Then I thought "Why am I wasting my JSBs?" and I grabbed a tin of CPHPs.  But 1st I threw out a fresh target and thought hmm, one more try with the JSBs.

This is 15 shots at 63 yards.  Oh, I have a UTG 3-12 compact on the 48.  It actually started OK but then did some serious vertical stringing.  There is hardly a group there...

Next up are the CPHPs.  The last time I chony'd these they were shooting right at 800.  So the POI was still low and to the right but after a few shots WOW!  I think the first 6 or 7 shots when into just a couple of holes.  This was 15 shots but there are 10 holes  :-)

Here are a few more pics from this afternoon:

And when I said I was shooting badly, I wasn't kidding...  See any groups here?  Yeah, me neither...  :-0

I'll go cry in my beer...

:-)

I have an Omega compressor. If you're a fellow Guild member, and you pass through Roswell, NM, I'll fill your portable tank as a courtesy.
